TrogdortheBurninator Posted March 14, 2007 Posted March 14, 2007 Is anybody else going insane being at work know that there were 1000-2000' freezing levels yesterday and today after a 10k level on the weekend? I know I sure am. Selected reading that fueled my insanity (from NWAC): "Water percolation was reported by the Stevens DOT to the bottom of the snowpack" "1500 ft N, 2000 ft C, 3500 ft S Tue and Wed, slightly higher midday and afternoon hours, slightly lower night and morning hours." "Moderate avalanche danger above 5000 feet and low below Wednesday." "This allowed for a very hard crust to form in all areas." Hopefully somebody was able to get after it. Quote
archenemy Posted March 14, 2007 Posted March 14, 2007 Me! My patient co-workers start talking to me then realize I am looking out the window. I got new skis that I am itching to take out!!! Quote
Gary_Yngve Posted March 14, 2007 Posted March 14, 2007 I got a conference paper deadline tomorrow night, and I'm supposed to do my share of final exam grading before then. No fun for me. Quote
ericb Posted March 14, 2007 Posted March 14, 2007 All I can say is boo-hoo new ACL a week from Friday, and new progeny in mid-June, so I'll be looking helplessly out the window for a long, long time..... Quote

The ACL will have you looking out the window much longer than your new progeny. Good luck man. Quote

That means skiing is going to SUCK until it snows again. "1500 ft N, 2000 ft C, 3500 ft S Tue and Wed, slightly higher midday and afternoon hours, slightly lower night and morning hours." Bug Posted March 15, 2007 Posted March 15, 2007 Should have brought the ice tols to MT. But the rock will be clean and dry on the S faces. Shoshone on Sat. Semi-alpine Quote
