olyclimber Posted March 1, 2007 Posted March 1, 2007 I had a front row seat an actual reenactment of the game frogger this morning. Right before turning the exit to my place of jorb, i noticed out of corner of my eye a Mazda Miata coming from on ramp to my left. In slow motion the little fella started spinning around, directly into oncoming freeway traffic. Then the lil Miata was hit by the first car to reach it, making it spin faster. Then all hell broke loose as cars smashed into each other all around me, I think 5-6 cars. I was driving slow to begin with so I was able to stop before smashing into anyone, and I have no idea how I managed to escape without getting smashed into myself because the cars surrounding me were pretty messed up. The poor Miata didn't make it to the next round, and while it hit the most cars, the car directly in front of me had the most damage as it had hit the backend of the Mazda at almost full speed. Good times. _BKRUfqgTfA Quote
archenemy Posted March 1, 2007 Posted March 1, 2007 OMG how scary! I am glad you are okay and I hope the Miata driver survives. Sorry all these folks had to start there day like this... Quote
AlpineK Posted March 1, 2007 Posted March 1, 2007 That's some crazy shit. Good thing you're just an observer. Quote

billcoe Posted March 1, 2007 Posted March 1, 2007 Good thing you'd done that morning peyote button or you'd have never been able to pull out of that one. Thats been my experience anyway. Quote
archenemy Posted March 2, 2007 Posted March 2, 2007 http://www.plasticbamboo.com/2007/03/01/look-into-my-ears-ear-scope-gxl-and-tv/ That is great, one more thing that I don't have to add to my Bday wish list next week. And I wonder about the pic that says lookie at what in this dude's ear. Is that what the inside of an ear normally looks like? How the fuck are we supposed to know? Does the kit come with a ear manual? Ear pics of before and after? And if so, before and after what? The scope only allows you to look inside the hole in your head, you don't actually do anything with it after that. How do people justify buying this? Maybe there is one on eBay? Is there any danger in getting a used ear tube thingy? What if its only "gently used" or merely "preowned". I want some answers. Quote
olyclimber Posted March 2, 2007 Author Posted March 2, 2007 "gently used"....thats one of my ebay favorites. Quote
AlpineK Posted March 2, 2007 Posted March 2, 2007 I think the company will send you an offer for the special ear sucker after you buy the viewer. Quote
