rob Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 Sweet. Thanks for the link, I'm determined to ditch the board and learn to ski this year. Quote
trumpetsailor Posted February 20, 2007 Posted February 20, 2007 Any thoughts on the ski as a choice for a relative newbie to AT skiing? If I go for it, it'll need to take care of me in the BC through summer and into next winter (I'm not budgeting for boots and bindings until ~June). Are similar deals apt to emerge through the Spring on somewhat fatter skis? Quote

A good bet might be to try to pick up some demo skis when resorts/shops try to close them out (if you don't mind having some drill holes in the skis). these sugar daddies are nice skis that a friend of mine uses as his AT setup, but it looks like they only have the 193/163 left... which 193 might be nice if you are going to use it in the resort alot, but would add some extra weight for touring setup. jordansahls Posted February 21, 2007 Posted February 21, 2007 Ok, I am a dip shit and don't know much about this skiing stuff, my question is how exactly does an alpine lifter binding work? Quote
