chris
What color do you like your goggle lenses for diffused/flat light? Edited December 19, 2006 by mtnfreak
DPS
I like amber.
gapertimmy
Amber is about as good as it gets for me. Though in really bad flat-light conditions or white outs, my depth perception sucks no matter what and my gapersteez reaches its zenith. When the light is super flat, trees are better than any googles.
snoboy
The best trick for skiing in really flat light is to continue skiing and close your eyes for 5-10s. When you open them, it will seem like the light has improved...

ClimbingPanther
Is there any real science to the color of the lens regarding its improvement/degrading of contrast in such conditions? Maybe a physicist could enlighten us... Gary? Skykilo?
chris
That's what I was wondering too - or if someone has some anecdotal evidence. The debate I've always heard was Mr. Yellow vs. Mr. Pink.
ilookeddown
Yellow is the best.
