Kevin Ohashi Posted December 4, 2006 Posted December 4, 2006 This is in reply to an old thread I found here: http://www.cascadeclimbers.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/000477.html Backstory, today my friend looked at a picture from Nepal and said it looked identical to the paramount logo. So we proceeded to look on the internet to try and find out, seems like there is quite a bit of debate. So I wanted to offer this mountain perhaps because nobody mentioned it. http://www.nepalpictures.com/details.php?image_id=31 Machhapuchhare (Fish Tail) Mountain in the Annapurna range near Pokhara, Nepal. Weekend_Climberz Posted December 4, 2006 Posted December 4, 2006 Close, but not quite: I always thought it looked more like a pointy K2... Quote
G-spotter Posted December 4, 2006 Posted December 4, 2006 If anything it looks more like Shivling. Look at that step in the ridge facing the camera in the logo. Just like east ridge of Shivling. But the correct answer is that IT IS A FAKE MADE UP MOUNTAIN :jeez: Quote
dberdinka Posted December 4, 2006 Posted December 4, 2006 (edited) I've always thought it was supposed to be a replica of Atresonraju in the Cordierra Blanca from the NE I believe. Striking similarity if you can find a pic. From summitpost (A much better match than FIshtail Peak) Not my editing... Edited December 4, 2006 by dberdinka Quote
