That looks pretty cool. It would be neat if some of the seattle parks followed suit and built some casual climbing structures. Woodinville skatepark also has a little manmade boulder. It looks like it would be fun on a sunny afternoon if were closer by.

looks like steins pillar, but shorter and with cyclone fencing!

 

Yeah how come there aren't big people bouldering playgrounds? Almost every playground in bend has little folk bouldering toys.

This is the climbing area at the new skate park under construction in Kent. It is located at at the corner of south 240th street and 116 avenue S.E. The park should be completed and open to the public in early spring of next year.
