OK, so while I'm sitting here waiting for another draft of my dissertation to print out I flip through the Beckey III book (2nd ed), and on page 224 I notice on the map that a "private jeep road" accesses a lodge on Quiniscoe Lake. Can anyone tell me anything about it?

IT'S FUCKIN EXPENSIVE! and they have a website.

They'll give you a lift up their road for some obscene sum of money. Might be nice if you want'd to do some walk in camping with the family. A couple good-looking climbs are accessed from that area (N Buttress of Grimface, Stone City Mtn)

But most climbers will probably be happier just hiking up Wall Creek to access climbing in the area. It's easy and quick.

the trail near the road is an easy hike. they frown on people hiking along the jeep road but we did it on the way out. camping is regulated in the area (unlike wall creek?). north face of grimface is kinda furry but good climbing.

Who regulates the camping? Is there a provincial park ranger station somewhere's?

EDIT: Ahhh, the power of Google. After living in Jackson Hole and visiting Mazama a bunch, the rates weren't too rediculous. Just more than what I can afford.

If I could justify spending for a little more comfort, I would!
