They just worry that we are going to ditch them, leaving them high and dry when it becomes unimportant for us politically. Quote

I can't think of a people that have been so long without their own country, occupied and subjugated by others. The biggest problem with Kurdistan is it is a threat to Turkey and Iran where significant Kurd populations would love to secede and join a greater Kurdistan. Quote
