Mos_Chillin Posted October 2, 2006 Posted October 2, 2006 A heads up, there is a real belayer-slayer lodged in a crack near the beginning of the third pitch of Midway - probably a 30-40 pound flake. A beginner friend pulled it out of another crack following a bit further above, fell, and luckily for the third, it got re-lodged. Caution should be exercised cleaning this due to traffic below. kurthicks Posted October 2, 2006 Posted October 2, 2006 I'll clean it tomorrow. PM me with specific beta if it's not obvious. Quote
Mos_Chillin Posted October 3, 2006 Author Posted October 3, 2006 Thanks. I was leading, so I can't say for sure. The third won't be back until Tomorrow, but she said it's obvious. Quote
Sherri Posted October 3, 2006 Posted October 3, 2006 Yep, it'll be easy to spot: blood-speckled flake lodged precariously near the outside edge of the otherwise wide-open crack...ready for the next victim. Signed, The Lucky Third Quote
kurthicks Posted October 4, 2006 Posted October 4, 2006 There were some guys from BC on route today, so it has NOT been cleaned. That is, unless they dropped it, which I didn't see or hear. Quote
Jens Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 Thanks for letting us be aware of this. If somebody could clean it asap, that would be great. Be careful about highway 2 traffic getting trundled on. This is my favorite training route for cardio. Quote
