olyclimber Posted June 6, 2006 Share Posted June 6, 2006 Looks like you got right to the spot where many get off route (heading to the climbers right too much, instead of climbing up the ledges and staying left, climbing up the col/gulley at the top of the ledges). chesterboo Posted June 6, 2006 Share Posted June 6, 2006 Nice try guys. A nice trip report too. I read it and it sounds like an english teacher. Am I too far off? I was thwarted 3 years ago in the same area. My partner's calves were cramping up and we decided to turn around just a few hundred feet from the top. We did that climb in March when there was still allot of snow. I saw more incredible avalanche debris on that slope than I have seen anywhere.
