goatboy
As of Tuesday, it's patchy and melting out pretty fast for the lower half or so. Still snowy up high, however. Questionable for snowmobiles pretty soon due to downed trees across road and diminishing snowpack. - steve
rayborbon
I would not take a snowmobile. The skids would get trashed.. Lots of trees and rocks is right..
Sean_Halling
Came down it yesterday afternoon. First mile is mostly melted out with patches of snow. The rest was all slushy, post-holing fun! MikeA didn't seem to have any fun coming down it on his skiis. I used snowshoes and I was still sinking through.

mikeadam
Road was open on Saturday, but there was deadfall across the road just short of the eightmile turnoff point. It would be driveable all the way with a 4x4 if the logs are cleared.
Cpt.Caveman
Bring a tow rope and chainsaw?
mikeadam
That would probably work, but it was easy to just boot the last mile and there was 14 inches of new snow so we could skin from just past the deadfall. On the way out it was mostly melted out except for right at the trailhead.
