Jim Posted February 1, 2006 Posted February 1, 2006 (edited) The Wedgewood Ale House was great! We should have it there every time (or perhaps alternate between there and the Wedgewood Broiler). Gets my vote as it's in walking distance. Got to finally get the scene behind the scenes. Edited February 1, 2006 by Jim Quote
mattp Posted February 1, 2006 Posted February 1, 2006 Wedgewood. The new Ballard. Next time, we'll see if we can get Catbirdseat to play his horn at a special Fiddler's Inn open mike night. Quote
marylou Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 Damn, I should have gone. I was feeling lazy as Wedgwood's miles from Ballard. Quote
Dougiefresh Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 I Had a blast, you can count on me to be there next time. Every one was great at making a cc.com lurker feel welcome. It was nice to put some faces with the names. Beer and climbing, it doesn’t get any better than that, or a least beer and talking about climbing. Quote
mattp Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 You shoulda been there when Pubclub went to exit 32. Quote

Alpinfox Posted February 3, 2006 Posted February 3, 2006 I know. It is not all glamor, is it? Matt, This picture should have been entered in the humor category in the contest. It cracks me up every time I look at it. What's the story? Quote
mattp Posted February 3, 2006 Posted February 3, 2006 After a week long trip in the Coast Range (Don't tell Dru I called it that) I was hiking out with my friend Mike, in the rain. No story really; the log was reeeely slippery and we didn't want to take the plunge so we belly crawled instead of running for it. About five miles of hiking through swamps followed, and an extra giant grizzly was waiting for us at the car. Fortunately we didn't have to shake hands with Mr. Big. Quote
