MtnHigh Posted December 5, 2005 Posted December 5, 2005 Congratuations to the Univ of Portland woman's soccer team, winning the NCAA Div I championship, beating UCLA 4-0. UCLA had out scored their tournament opponents 21-0 prior to the final game with Portland. In the tournament Portland beat the big fat cat teams Notre Dame (ranked #5 and last years champ) Penn St. (ranked #1) UCLA (ranked #4) Portland has a shitty pro b-ball team and no pro football, but the woman kick ass. Camilo Posted December 5, 2005 Posted December 5, 2005 Both my Alma Maters (HS and college) will be playing in Championships this year . Neither won anything while I was there. Quote
JoshK Posted December 5, 2005 Posted December 5, 2005 Good for beating Notre Dame! How do you Oregon guys feel that a 1-loss pac-10 team (Oregon) gets passed over for the second year so we can watch fucking Notre Dame, a 2-loss team that has only beat 3 teams with winning records!? Fuck Notre Dame. Quote
