Alpinfox
I'd like one of the 3/8 inch drill setups and one of the 1/4 inchers. I'm working on a proj on the side of Pope's house.

Peter_Puget
Except….. I will pick them up on my way home from work! Actually I just thought I’d offer a couple comments regarding 5-10 bits. 1) The 3/8” are the most easily broken bits I have ever used. Be careful while pounding. 2) The 5/16” and the ¼” have a reverse taper so be careful not to take too much off while sharpening. If too much is taken off the bit will be too small. This is a pain with the 1/4". If you guys don’t want the ¼” I can find use for them. Edited November 2, 2005 by Peter_Puget
crazyjizzy
Gone - promised. The Five-Ten drills are very easily broken. Do other manufacturers make a tapered drill to fit a Rawl holder? If I was going to replace this bolt kit, I would buy a holder for SDS drills. The hangers are still going to require a little work with a flapper wheel. mattp
Petzl Rock Pecker is a good hand drill that takes SDS bits, Pika makes one too.
Peter_Puget
More than a few holes have been drilled using old Boeing surplus bits (bought by the pound) ground down to fit Rawl holders.
slaphappy
The Pika blows. The Rockpecker is WAY better. -
bigwalling
Hurricane is the way to go wankers. SDS bits are pretty sucky for hand drilling.
