archenemy Posted September 16, 2005 Posted September 16, 2005 The agents say some of the company's products have been exported to the UK, and that the use of skin from condemned convicts is "traditional" and nothing to "make such a big fuss about". Using tiger penis to stir your coffee is also traditional. Quote
archenemy Posted September 16, 2005 Posted September 16, 2005 Skin was said to be highly valued for the treatment of burn victims, and Dr Wang said that in 1995 he skinned a shot convict's body while the man's heart was still beating. Dr Wang, who was seeking asylum in the US, also alleged that corneas and other body tissue were removed for transplant, and said his hospital, the Tianjin paramilitary police general brigade hospital, sold body parts for profit. Asylum? What job would he have here? Some resume that dude must have. Quote
olyclimber Posted September 16, 2005 Posted September 16, 2005 like all the info that was gathered and used for the betterment of science with the Nazi human experiments.... Quote
archenemy Posted September 16, 2005 Posted September 16, 2005 The gruesome practice has been documented among ethnic Chinese communities throughout Asia, but so far every attempt to prove that people were leaving U.S. soil to buy organs from China's massive death row has failed. what is the difference between an "ethnic Chinese community" in Asia and a Chinese community in Asia? Quote
Dru Posted September 16, 2005 Posted September 16, 2005 So of the 5,500 executions worldwide last year, 5,000 wre Chinese. and were 400 of the other 500 American? Think of all the lost cosmetics kickback. I bet they just sold the bodies for cattle feed. Quote
Dru Posted September 16, 2005 Posted September 16, 2005 what is the difference between an "ethnic Chinese community" in Asia and a Chinese community in Asia? There are minorities in China too. Mostly persecuted by the Han chinese. Quote
archenemy Posted September 16, 2005 Posted September 16, 2005 Why are some Chinese "ethnic" and the others "Han"? Quote
Dru Posted September 16, 2005 Posted September 16, 2005 Han Chinese are ethnic Chinese. The others, specifically minorities like Uighurs, Tibetans and so on, are Chinese by nationality but not by ethnicity. There are also "linguistic minorities" like the Cantonese. Quote
archenemy Posted September 16, 2005 Posted September 16, 2005 Ah. So are there no "ethnic Americans"? Quote
cj001f Posted September 16, 2005 Posted September 16, 2005 Han Chinese are the dominant ethnicity in China and are often referred to as "chinese". The others (uighurs, Tibetans, Sherpa, etc.) are equally chinese, whatever the hell that means. "ethnic Chinese" in other parts of Asia often refers to Han Chinese immigrants (ex. Indonesia) Quote
Dru Posted September 16, 2005 Posted September 16, 2005 Ah. So are there no "ethnic Americans"? They are called "Native Americans" in America. Quote
archenemy Posted September 16, 2005 Posted September 16, 2005 No, they are/were a diverse group of people who belonged to many different tribes with their own different ethnicity. Quote
slothrop Posted September 16, 2005 Posted September 16, 2005 Oh, enough of the semantics already. You are a beautiful and unique snowflake, OK? Quote

barjor Posted September 16, 2005 Posted September 16, 2005 We need to stop prisoners from getting tattoes that would make there skin less valuable when we want to sell it after they get the chair. Quote
Dru Posted September 16, 2005 Posted September 16, 2005 guillotine would be better for the doctors than a messy bullet hole? Quote
archenemy Posted September 16, 2005 Posted September 16, 2005 Good thinking. Then, you can just hang and drain em. Quote
cj001f Posted September 16, 2005 Posted September 16, 2005 We need to stop prisoners from getting tattoes that would make there skin less valuable when we want to sell it after they get the chair. And they need to put the lotion on their skin. Quote
cj001f Posted September 16, 2005 Posted September 16, 2005 thanks for that memory. If you'd used the lotion you'd be in a better place right now. Quote
