Couloir Posted July 7, 2005 Posted July 7, 2005 Sounds like all hell is breaking loose over there. Quote
Dave_Schuldt Posted July 7, 2005 Posted July 7, 2005 So what country are we going to invade now? Quote
knotzen Posted July 7, 2005 Posted July 7, 2005 None. We get the hell back to our own country, our own continent, our own hemisphere, and work on our own problems. Â We start producing and using biodiesel, and let the people who live in the Middle East work out their own problsm. Â IsolationistsRUs. Quote
Cobra_Commander Posted July 7, 2005 Posted July 7, 2005 Don't be coming here spouting all your lodgik. We need to invade at least three more sandy countries before god will stop the bombers. Â They fear liberty and freedom, dammit, so that's what they'll get! er, wait a minute... Quote
Dechristo Posted July 7, 2005 Posted July 7, 2005 We get the hell back to our own country, our own continent, our own hemisphere, and work on our own problems. We start producing and using biodiesel, and let the people who live in the Middle East work out their own problsm.  IsolationistsRUs. ...and we'll all live happily ever-after. They fear liberty and freedom, dammit... ...for women and anyone with a belief-system other than that dictated by the current Allah-carte God-mouthpiece.  There never has, is, nor will be, a fix to our world's "problems".  ...unless you consider the extinction of the human race a viable solution. Quote
knotzen Posted July 7, 2005 Posted July 7, 2005 ...and we'll all live happily ever-after. Â Not saying this is an easy solution. I think we need to get the hell out of Iraq and address the poverty, sickness, corporate b'shit, erosions of liberty, and everything else here in our own home. But hey, whatev. Nobody asked me, eh. Quote
Dechristo Posted July 7, 2005 Posted July 7, 2005 I think we need to...address...erosions of liberty... Nobody asked me, eh. Â The freedom expressed in offering your opinion, whether asked, addresses "erosions of liberty". Â Keep at it. Quote
knotzen Posted July 7, 2005 Posted July 7, 2005 The freedom expressed in offering your opinion, whether asked, addresses "erosions of liberty". Â I know. I'm was just being a wuss and backing down from all you baddies. Quote
knotzen Posted July 7, 2005 Posted July 7, 2005 Purge pernicious pusillanimity. Dude, don't you know it. Â So, I say,... oh wait, can we use the F word here? Â hee hee, hee hee hee ha Quote
Dechristo Posted July 7, 2005 Posted July 7, 2005 Rebuff reproving rascals  Sounds like the Bush Doctrine. Quote
selkirk Posted July 7, 2005 Posted July 7, 2005 Texas  Didn't we already invade Texas? Isn't that how we got it in the first place? Maybe we should finally end the occupation and give it back to mexico. Quote
knotzen Posted July 7, 2005 Posted July 7, 2005 Yeah, but so are they. That means: to the death. Â Geez, I wonder how God feels about all this? It probably pisses her off. Quote
Dechristo Posted July 7, 2005 Posted July 7, 2005 Yeah, but so are they. That means: to the death. Geez, I wonder how God feels about all this? It probably pisses her off. What makes you think God isn't complicit? Quote
foraker Posted July 7, 2005 Posted July 7, 2005 probably that whole 'thou shalt not kill' thing.... Quote
archenemy Posted July 7, 2005 Posted July 7, 2005 Texas  Didn't we already invade Texas? Isn't that how we got it in the first place? Maybe we should finally end the occupation and give it back to mexico.  Look at the population demographics. Mexico is re-occupying Texas and California. Smart buggers. Quote
Dechristo Posted July 7, 2005 Posted July 7, 2005 probably that whole 'thou shalt not kill' thing.... Oooo baby, that supplies rich possibilities for discussion, but, I'll be mindful of digression. The very tome that supplies your quoted edict describes God commanding the slaughter of thousands including women and children. When is God complicit and not? Quote
selkirk Posted July 7, 2005 Posted July 7, 2005 The new testament is meant to supersede the old you wanker. Quote
knotzen Posted July 7, 2005 Posted July 7, 2005 When is God complicit and not? The greater question is, does God/goddess/the gods exist? And would he/she/they give a flying fuck that earthlings are bashing each other? Â It's people's belief of who God is, and their "relationship" to God that causes the trouble. We'd all be better off being agnostics, like me. You don't see me going around blowing up buses. Although I occasionally feel like punching someone in the face. Quote
