Dr_Flash_Amazing Posted May 12, 2005 Posted May 12, 2005 Mongeese! Or mongooses? And is a group of them a gaggle? Or maybe a mongaggle? Quote
Cobra_Commander Posted May 12, 2005 Posted May 12, 2005 I think it's a bunch of pansies who seem to have to team up to handle one cobra. And FYI I COMMAND cobras. Doesn't mean I'm actually a fricken cobra. Quote
Dru Posted May 12, 2005 Author Posted May 12, 2005 Herpestes nyula Rudyard Kipling’s “Ricki-Ticki” was a mongoose, and the best known species is definitely the Indian mongoose. They are rather small, agile, weasel-like carnivores native to Africa, southern Europe, and Asia. The mongoose lives near streams, in thickets, hedges, and fields feeding on rats, mice, snakes, lizards, eggs, and insects. The Indian mongoose is renowned for killing cobras, which it is capable of doing due to its very quick movements, thick protective hide, and long, thick hair. One of the largest species was considered a sacred animal in ancient Egypt. It checked the increase of crocodiles in the Nile River by eating their eggs and gained the popular name “Pharaoh’s Mouse.” Some species of mongoose are kept as pets for vermin protection but are not allowed into Canada or the United States because of their destructiveness. King Tut gets into it now...everything is connected in Spray. Quote

K_Y_L_E Posted May 12, 2005 Posted May 12, 2005 Gross! that snake has a hippy on it. The North American Hippy is far more abundant and dangerous than the Cobra. A mongoose will not deter or kill a hippy. The only thing that can is a hair-cut, and bath, and a job. Please for Gods sake, be careful out there people. It is hippy season. You are warned. Quote
