Dru
it's the 2005 aztar with a new name and a new grip and the same pick
DPS
Its the alpine version of the Aztar. Its the lightest tool I have swung. The pinky rest is silly, but should break off the first time you plunge it into hard snow. NYC007
SWEET ALPINE TOOL, FUKIN LIGHT
forrest_m
pinky rest is removable and nests inside the shaft - so that you can whip it out at the belay if necessary for the next gnarly pitch. (as long as you don't mind fidding with an hex wrench...). what i can't figure out from the pictures is if the shaft is completely bare or if it has some kind of grippy texture. rhyang
the shaft is also only B-rated.
NYC007
yeah, there is no grip, a lil grip tape would be nice. Like the grivel light wing

John Frieh
I think that was philip Pellet?, the finger rest was a lil different It was. He had a cam hook like object taped on. Good article though it was confusing: did they get the FA or not?
