chelle Posted December 18, 2004 Posted December 18, 2004 Hey PDXers...where near I-5 can I stop and get some TG brew in the bottles? I'm heading through PDX on Wed and want to grab some on my way south. Thanks. Quote
Chad_A Posted December 19, 2004 Posted December 19, 2004 I know that New Seasons Markets and Whole Foods Markets are carrying it; I don't know of one directly near I-5, though. What areas of Portland are you familiar with? Any at all? Quote
b-rock Posted December 20, 2004 Posted December 20, 2004 If you're just passing through on your way south, Whole Foods might be your best option if you go around the city on 405: http://www.wholefoods.com/stores/portland/index.html#map Quote
sketchfest Posted December 20, 2004 Posted December 20, 2004 Sorry to have to tell everyone from out of town this....but all of the TG in Portland has been drunk and there won't be any new deliveries for a looooong time..yeah...that's the ticket...it's all gone...mmmmmm Quote
Winter Posted December 20, 2004 Posted December 20, 2004 That must have been bud I was drinking out of that TG 6 pack I bought last night. Quote
sketchfest Posted December 20, 2004 Posted December 20, 2004 If you were doing something with bud, I'm sure you weren't drinking it Quote
chelle Posted December 21, 2004 Author Posted December 21, 2004 Thanks. I think I'll have to make a detour. I hope they don't have a limit on how many 6 packs I can buy. Quote
rbw1966 Posted December 21, 2004 Posted December 21, 2004 There is plenty of it in the New Seasons by my house. Thank god. Quote
Winter Posted December 21, 2004 Posted December 21, 2004 I would suggest the New Seasons at 20th and Division. Its about 5 minutes off of I5 if you know how to get there. Avoid downtown at all costs right now, as its a fucking XMAS zoo. Quote
Terminal_Gravity Posted December 21, 2004 Posted December 21, 2004 Chelle, You might try John's Market on Multnomah Blvd about 6 miles south of downtown. It is less than 2 minutes from the freeway...2nd light on the NW corner. Getting back on the freeway south bound is a bit more challenging; ask for directions at the store. IMHO John's has close to the best selection of beer in Oregon. Sorry I have been so out of touch lately. Work has been insane ( not much fun these days ), I've barely been able to get out. Also, I had a keyboard failure, followed by a catastrophic hard drive failure...but I'm back on line and have Broadband for the first time FWIW I think it will be a good year for Wallowa county ice. If anybody PM's be for Ice info please leave a phone # and be patient for a reply. Cheers - steve Quote
rbw1966 Posted December 30, 2004 Posted December 30, 2004 An article in today's Oregonian talks about "The Year in Beer" and lauds Terminal Gravity's bottling of "perhaps the best IPA in the galaxy". Congratulations on the continued success! Quote
Terminal_Gravity Posted December 30, 2004 Posted December 30, 2004 Thanks Rob, I'm just glad that people like my beer. Quote
MtnHigh Posted December 31, 2004 Posted December 31, 2004 Thanks Rob, I'm just glad that people like my beer. And the meek shall inherit the earth Quote
