Gary_Yngve Posted November 26, 2004 Posted November 26, 2004 Our turkey turned out great despite near catastrophe. I was cooking in a friend's kitchen and had the turkey in for an hour when I finished making the turkey stock from the giblets. I accidently turned off the oven instead of the range and didn't notice. About an hour later, I hear a voice from the kitchen, "Why's the oven turned off?" The turkey ended up being done an hour later, but otherwise it was fine. In addition to the traditional T-Day fare, we also had some Chinese noodles and duck and some baked brie with curry and mango chutney. Quote
