AllYouCanEat Posted October 20, 2004 Posted October 20, 2004 The price river log. Schweet! As soon as the bro started I think he wished he crawled. Quote
TrogdortheBurninator Posted October 21, 2004 Posted October 21, 2004 What is climbing/skiing baker this time of year like? I was thinking of heading up there this weekend to do some snowboarding. I have only been up there twice before, both in august. Do people recommend crampons or snowshoes this time of year? It seems that with this relatively cold weather, the snow should be pretty good. If anyone has any advice id appreciate it. Quote
skykilo Posted October 27, 2004 Author Posted October 27, 2004 Well, thanks for all the advice everyone. Dru and Tex both made great suggestions, but they weren't really ideal for a day trip. I went back to the old standby, Mt Baker. It's like a hit single that just can't get played enough. These photos ought to answer your questions, Trogdor... Ross enjoys perfect powder on the Park Headwall. A productive detour from the standard Coleman Deming Route. Curtis Blow couldn't top these white lines baby! Quote
skykilo Posted October 28, 2004 Author Posted October 28, 2004 You're damn right. That was the whole point of the thread: I started chestbeating about it THREE DAYS BEFOREHAND. So get down, get down, with the Gangstarrrrrr sound. Quote
