Bug Posted September 20, 2004 Posted September 20, 2004 Just got back from the Kid's Ropeup. We got a little rain but the mountains around us were white on top. Very early winter? Quote

Alasdair Posted September 20, 2004 Posted September 20, 2004 Three FEET? Holy shi..... Postholing between Little A and Dragontail. Quote
castlecrag Posted September 20, 2004 Posted September 20, 2004 I hope Nolse and Illini enjoyed postholing for 20 miles this weekend too! Quote
Alasdair Posted September 20, 2004 Posted September 20, 2004 It wasn't really that bad. Another few feet and boulder fields will be a pleasure to cross. Postholing was only in areas of wind blown snow. The rest was pretty nice. Quote
Kyle_Flick Posted September 20, 2004 Posted September 20, 2004 We were just up there this weekend too doing the search for the missing hiker and encountered only about 6" of snow up at the Enchantment/Lost World Plateau with only about a foot in places where it was windblown. Amazing difference from the week before where we were cragging in the sun. Quote
