JayB
Thanks for the invitation and the encouragement. I would but per Scottish Wanker's too-close-to-home profile of the American climber I am getting my psyche together and doing some tai-chi to center myself in preparation for my quest to add a sit start variation to Dreamer tomorrow, and the humiliation that would surely come along with failing to display the requisite proficiency with the chat function would like, totally harsh on my psych. Uncle_Tricky
Just noticed Allison's sign line, which is a strange saying to run across twice in two days. So without further mountainadew, it's time for another installment of "Trivia the Answers to Which You Can't Find on Google".... In which public bathroom in Washington does Allison's sig "Time flies like an arrow; fruit flies like a banana" appear scrawled in blue pen? Apparently penned by the same poet, another eliminational epigram reads: "Outside a dog, a book is a man's best friend. Inside a dog, it's took dark to read." allthumbs
I've seen her phone number in a couple of rest stop cans and more than one bar in the Seattle area.
Off_White
They're both Groucho Marx quotes. I've got the "outside of a dog" quote on a tee shirt from the Tattered Cover in Denver, a good huge independent bookstore, but it can't match Powell's in Portland
allison
'eliminational epigram', heh, I like that. You funny. I heard the phrase from my mom, when I was about eight. Trask why on earth would you say something like that? Is that an attempt at humor? You yourself have called me uptight, now which is it? Uncle_Tricky
Ah, Groucho. His parents knew he was going to be cool when they named him. Maybe all the wit and wisdom in the world is written out there on stalls walls. Maybe my dog can find me a book...
Norman_Clyde
allison, don't let Trask get to you. Trask, I just blew the whistle on your post. Uh oh, you're in trouble now.

Geek_the_Greek
Man that was intense...all the bleeps and blips you can desire. I feel vaguely molested, and unworthy. I guess no one else was on after all?
