jaee Posted September 11, 2004 Posted September 11, 2004 Bear in mind that while easy to do, scanning and printing your own permits may be a much more serious crime than not having a trail park permit. Isn't all forgery/counterfeiting a felony offense? I'm asking, I don't purport to know the facts here. Anyone ever been caught counterfeiting a ski pass? At least that's worth some $$'s. Quote
sobo Posted September 11, 2004 Posted September 11, 2004 ...Pinch another victim's ticket right when you pull in. Put it on your windsheild and you don't get cited 'cause you've already been. The other guy gets to say, "Ticket? What ticket?", in all truth. I like that one the best! Quote
Ring angle claw Posted June 22, 2008 Posted June 22, 2008 These days I remove my license plates at any trailhead that requires a forest pass and make sure my VIN # is covered. There is no law that says you have to display plates on a parked vehicle and if they wait for you just say your plates got stolen. There probably actually is Quote
mtn_mouse Posted June 22, 2008 Posted June 22, 2008 You would probably be impounded and cited under RCW 46.61.010 for having a vehicle on a public road/parking area without proof of registration/plates. Nice try though. Quote
