chucK Posted July 27, 2004 Posted July 27, 2004 You catch William Jefferson's speech last night? Hilarious! "For the first time ever when America was on a war footing, there were two huge tax cuts, nearly half of which went to the top one percent. I'm in that group now for the first time in my life. When I was in office, the Republicans were pretty mean to me. When I left and made money, I became part of the most important group in the world to them." All the references to the Republicans helping him out were great! Guy looks freakin' younger than me! When he was president I always thought he was doing a better job when he was freshly shorn. Seems like Bush never has a problem with taking time out of his busy schedule to get his hair cut. Quote
bird Posted July 27, 2004 Posted July 27, 2004 I watched his speech last night and thought it was brilliant. I wish I had taped it. Quote
b-rock Posted July 27, 2004 Posted July 27, 2004 Love him or hate him, the man can speak. Even the Fox cronies were jizz'n their pants. Quote

ChucK, maybe you don't remember the time Clinton got his million-dollar haircut that brought regional air travel to a standstill. Quote
chucK Posted July 27, 2004 Author Posted July 27, 2004 Yeah shit! How could I forget? That was quite a scandal! Quote
marylou Posted July 28, 2004 Posted July 28, 2004 That speech last night was the best one I've ever heard from him. Quote
JoshK Posted July 28, 2004 Posted July 28, 2004 The man truly has a gift for public speaking, there is no doubt about that. Quote
Fairweather Posted July 28, 2004 Posted July 28, 2004 I saw excerpts and I'll admit that it was a good speech. Bill forgot rule #1 though...don't upstage the candidate! If Clinton were running for president again this election I still would not vote for him! But he would most surely win. Quote
MervGriffin Posted July 28, 2004 Posted July 28, 2004 "Sure do miss those good old days! Anybody got a light for this here cigar?" Quote
JoshK Posted July 28, 2004 Posted July 28, 2004 Shady monica dealings or Shady Enron dealings...hmm, which is worse? FW, I would agree that Clinton would most likely wipe up in this election if he could run again. It's become more and more obvious that both candidates are trying to win by proving how much more the other guy sucks. And, yes, even more than in past elections Quote
