MervGriffin Posted July 12, 2004 Posted July 12, 2004 As featured in Newsweek, these lovely gals want you to know where they stand before you ask to share the table: "N.Y. voters sport 'I ONLY DRINK WITH LIBERALS' pins." Put a positive spin on it! With that kind of attitude, they're saving you from a very irritating evening! Thanks for the warning! Quote
JayB Posted July 12, 2004 Posted July 12, 2004 Is that Oats from Hall and Oats on the right? Too funny - a decidedly less than stunning female (on the right) preemptively screening out another fraction of the meager population of men who happen to be drunk enough to be interested in buying her a drink... badvoodoo Posted July 12, 2004 Posted July 12, 2004 "I only drink with liberals".... That's like wearing a pin saying "I only drink with lesbians". WTF is the point of drinking with you in the first place if you're that close-minded? Quote
Dru Posted July 12, 2004 Posted July 12, 2004 if you wore that badge in eugene it would be meaningless and non-exclusionary anyways right. there's two ways to look at this: 1) the lure of forbidden fruit. making yourself more unattainable and therefore more desirable; or 2) justifying what you can't get by saying you don't want it. like Salt Lake City teens declaring themselves as straight edge.
