They are cheating the public by collecting a salary, while they are hardly ever there doing their jobs !

=====================================================

ALERT: As you know, two of the most liberal men in

the U.S. Senate -- John Kerry and John Edwards --

are now the presumed nominees for the Democrats' bid

for the White House. They'll be accepting their

nominations in Boston this month.

RightMarch.com plans to be there... IN THEIR FACES...

in more ways than one. But we need YOUR help to do

it!

https://secure.cartlight.com/merchant/rightmarch/?afid=alerts

First of all, we plan to take out at least FIVE

FULL-PAGE ADS in the greater Boston metro area,

DEMANDING that Sens. Kerry and Edwards resign from

the Senate in order to run for President and Vice

President, because they're there so rarely there's

no way for them to actually represent their

constituents.

Sen. Edwards has missed 43 percent of Senate votes

while running for President; Sen. Kerry has missed

88 PERCENT. That's simply NOT RIGHT, and the public

is not being well-served.

In 1996, Republican Sen. Bob Dole of Kansas resigned

his Senate seat - and his powerful post as Senate

GOP leader - shortly before he formally accepted

the Republican nomination for president. Shouldn't

the American people insist that Kerry & Edwards have

the integrity to do the same?

Adding insult to injury, according to the Boston

Herald (3/1/04), "Kerry has been a virtual no-show

in the U.S. Senate over the past 14 months, but he

hasn't missed a paycheck," even though "federal law

says some of his $158,000 salary should have been

withheld." Edwards continues to cash HIS checks, too.

But, as the New York Post noted (6/16/04), "In 2000,

then-Texas Gov. George Bush reimbursed his state a

day's salary for every day that he was campaigning

out of state and then-Lt. Gov. Rick Perry had to step

in as acting governor."

Sens. Kerry and Edwards need to RESIGN NOW, and stop

taking taxpayer money that they haven't earned!

Will YOU help us take out a full-page ad around the

Democrat Convention in Boston, DEMANDING their

resignation?

TAKE ACTION: Top Republicans in John Kerry's home

state of Massachusetts have already been urging him

to resign from the Senate to run for president. The

North Carolina GOP has nicknamed John Edwards "Senator

Gone" for constantly forgoing his duties as Senator

during his "Pick-Me-For-V.P.-Tour".

John Kerry and John Edwards made a commitment to the

people of Massachusetts and North Carolina -- a

commitment to do a job, and a commitment to represent

their states in the United States Senate. In fact,

they took an oath of office. If they won't do the job

they swore to do, why would we ever want them in the

White House?

The overall cost of this campaign is over $50,000. We

have VERY LITTLE TIME to raise enough money to place

FULL-PAGE ads in Boston-area newspapers, demanding

that Kerry and Edwards resign immediately. If every

one of our members gave just $30 or $50, we could put

those ads up NOW. But we know that many of our

patriotic members just can't afford to give that

much -- so some of you might be able to give more to

make up for them, maybe as much as $100, $500, or even

$1,000 or $2,000.

Our members have strongly supported our efforts,

including several full-page USA Today ads nationwide,

as well as national radio ad campaigns. PLEASE, go to

our website below to make a donation TODAY -- let's

make sure we stay in the FACES of the liberal Democrats,

including right there in Boston:

out to:

NOTE: As an extra "perk", if Kerry resigns, his

temporary replacement would be named by the governor of

Massachusetts... who just happens to be a Republican!

North Carolina has a Democrat governor -- but 1 out of

2 ain't bad!

And remember our wildly successful counter-protest

against the radical liberals recently in Washington,

D.C.? RightMarch.com is co-sponsoring another "Operation

Witness" protest in Boston during the Democrat National

Convention, as well as another counter-protest against

the protesters in New York during the GOP Convention.

We'll let you know more shortly.

By the way, if you'd like to drop a personal note to

Kerry & Edwards asking them to resign from the Senate,

their email address is info@johnkerry.com - have fun!

Strom Thurmond had his aids attend his committee assignments for the last 4 years of his term.

sailBoi, with yet more partisan bullshit. The only thing you are doing is assuring more turnout from the left. The only voters changing sides in what will obviously be a very very close race are going away from Bush. This thing will hinge on turnout.

Yeah, they should resign right now...for what reason? So the GOP can ramrod some legislation through the Senate while their seats are vacant?

Should we overlook the fact that Bush didn't resign the governorship of Texas until a month AFTER the 2000 election?

And exactly what does the shortly before in "In 1996, Republican Sen. Bob Dole of Kansas resigned his Senate seat - and his powerful post as Senate GOP leader - shortly before he formally accepted

the Republican nomination for president." mean?

When exactly was Bob Dole's last day in the Senate you ask? June 11th 1996. rolleyes.gif

You think the people reading this will somehow overlook that Bush has been on vacation close to half the time and that he too is campaigning on the public dime?

And your little article there is riddled with factual inaccuracies as well. There are no "checks" to cash, all federal employees have a direct deposit requirement.

As a conservative, I ask you to please: Take your divisive partisan bullshit and stick it up your ass. Boy, you're another uniter, not a divider. the_finger.gif

sailboy sounds pretty much certifiable, & one would imagine, also, highly impressed with Matt Drudge & Ann Coulter. How is the state-sponsored mental health care system in Washington? One assumes as resident of Brinnon, he has no health insurance.

Actually, the Massachusetts legislature (Democrat-controlled) is feveishly working to strip the governor of the right to name a senatorial successor. I know it's hard to believe...but they now believe that the state senate should appoint vacant seats.

I'll admit that this is politically motivated - but I do think it is better to have the Legislature (whatever their flavour) appoint a successor than the Governor, lest we get Alaskan size embarrasments like the Murkowski's, a subversion of democracy if I've ever seen one.

Liberal Anger

While that's a crackpot article written by a conservative moron, I've observed several of the points that he addresses. thumbs_up.gif

Conservatives are ignorant, stupid, and evil, or some combination of the three. Either they don't grasp the obvious truth or they're incapable of thinking clearly or they don't give a damn about anyone but themselves. Liberals, of course, are the opposite of all these. They're knowledgeable, intelligent, and good. Note that if you believe your opponents to be stupid or evil, you don't try to reason with them. Stupid people, like animals and children, need guidance by their superiors. Evil people need suppression. It's often been remarked that liberals are less adept than conservatives at arguing for their views. Now you see why. They don't practice.

I see these attitudes all the time around here. yellaf.gif

Gee, I found this really enlightening FAQ section on a Web site related to the link above provided us by Mr. Sailboy. It too, carries references to the distinguished philosopher Johhn Kekes, whom Sailboy's link addulates. An examination of earlier links provided by this gentleman scientist from Brinnon, have provided me with much food for thought on "creation science" and the "junk science" of climate change.

Sailboi - get a clue - Bush is absent minded as well as absent - on vacation 42+% of the time - you ought to rethink your logic - go drink a Snapple!

Play Snaffle - http://Snaffle.com

Believe it or not, I do study the links sent in by persons who disagree with me smirk.gif

Actually, the Snaffle link was fun ! In fact on the lower right there is a link which leads to an online Presidential Poll/

I dutifully went through the motions and the results of the poll were reported back to me! You will be interested to know that:
