SethWhite Posted April 8, 2004 Posted April 8, 2004 what's available in the boots? good selection? or no? Quote
bchaps Posted April 8, 2004 Author Posted April 8, 2004 As of this afternoon there seemed to still be a good selection. Quote
SethWhite Posted April 8, 2004 Posted April 8, 2004 I was just there this morning (11am) and there was still a good selection of rock shoes and boots nepal extremes and lhotse as well as makalu. A bunch of harnesses and chalk bags. otherwise stuff is pretty much gone. one guy was buying up a shat load of stuff to sell. get there for an extra pair of new climbing shoes or a good mountaineering boot! olyclimber Posted April 8, 2004 Posted April 8, 2004 When I walked out of there I felt like running, like it was a LA riot free for all. A couple of pairs of Nepal Extremes (pair for me, a pair for a friend), a harnesss and assorted climbing gear for around 1/2 the price of one of the pairs of boots. I fought back the urge to profiteer and just buy it all and sell it all on ebay. I missed out on the hardware, but that was/is the sale of the decade for me. Christmas in April. And think about it, the more you spend, the more you save! Quote
thelawgoddess Posted April 8, 2004 Posted April 8, 2004 by the time i get to seattle there will be nothing left! Quote

I have to admit it did occur to me to do so, but I don't need any bad karma, so I just got a few things that a climber buddy and I actually were looking to buy anyway. Quote
