billcoe Posted March 9, 2004 Posted March 9, 2004 Yeah- most of us would consider a great thing to merely be alive at 83, but one thing: that guy looks like hes in his 60's. Could he be lying about his age? Does anybody here personally know him? Â Just curious: Â Regards; Â Bill Quote
Skeezix Posted April 27, 2004 Posted April 27, 2004 I ran into Stimson Bullitt in Boston Basin ten years ago. He was with some swarthy strapping Lithuanian climber that didn't speak a word of English. Bullitt chatted me up for ten minutes. I was pretty impressed with him. He had ratty old gear and a big smile --big personality. Cliff Leight scored with that photo. What a great shot! Quote
E-rock Posted April 27, 2004 Posted April 27, 2004 I heard that he learned to climb in his old age. Is that true? Quote
