Great balls of fire... I was just looking in the Alpine Select of SW BC book and discovered this massive gargantuan peak. It says mostly solid rock that is "difficult to protect." Any of you out there climbed this?

Yeah that was me, it took me a while to figure out which way to have my finger positioned for the shallow mono, and I had to wait for the right conditions inorder to stick the sloper. yelrotflmao.gif

the diagonal bail off was done during an attempt prior to the fa. basically it involves avoiding all the crux pitches in favor of 4th class bush heading left

 

the n ridge is written up in the caj.

 

the photo was taken feb/02 and the winter ascent will hopefully be investigated shortly when good weather strikes and all the other foos are out vying for the fwa of w face of sloan... one attempt this winter already got about 400m-500m up before weather came in
