Bug
I listened to John Edwards at a town hall in NH. I found him very practical and believable. And I don't believe anybody running for that job. So I went to his web site and read. www.johnedwards.com. If I had to vote right now, it would be for Edwards. Dean would come in a close second. I still hope Clark gets plenty of support so the Dem Nominee has to accept some of his planks. Kerry needs a new hairdo and his polotics are just as old. JoshK
I think Edwards+Clark could be a strong ticket. Edwards is very well spoken and charismatic. He has the mental edge to run circles around the dipshit currently in office and the persona to win people over as well. I honestly think his friendly nature and good looks are a benifit that could possibly make him stronger than kerry or the others.

catbirdseat
The way I've got it figured, Clark is going to be on the Democratic Ticket one way or another. If he isn't nominated, he is almost certain to be the Vice Presidential running mate.

Especially if you are from the south, I would like to hear a dissenting expose.

That is the kind of stuff I am looking for. I would still like to know what his cases were like. After my 7 mos pregnant wife got rear ended by a teenager doing her makeup, I had a new appreciation for personal injury lawers. We got $5000 without a lawer. My wife still has back problems that she did not have before the accident. But that is murky ground. My point is that, a personal injury lawer is not necessarily a sleaze. Do you have any more detailed links? I would like to see them.
Stonehead
Wouldn't it be cool if in some weird twist of Fate, Wesley Clark makes up with the Republican Party and joins the Bush campaign as his vice president? That would be really cool in a Hollywood sort of way, something like the X-Men where Clark morphs right in front of the analytical eye of media, if seeing is believing then you have to believe it. And, now this is the kicker, we accept it as perfectly normal. Consistency in character is no longer required as a prerequisite for the job of executive figurehead. Or, if once Clark is elected, he pulls off his facemask to reveal a Republican. You know, kind of like one of those dirty tricks the Communists are so well known to pull, like when Fidel Castro came into power and he declared that he had always been a communist and always will be. Instead, in this case, Clark reveals he has always been in essence a Republican, only wearing Democratic clothes to appear acceptable. All that stuff about keeping abortion legal, etc. etc., to appease the Dorito-eating public—if Schwarzenegger can do it in Californi—then, yeah, one more time! If Election 2000 was weird and surreal then Election 2004 will keep you glued to the news feed. Coffee
