I mean, I grew up in a fairly unrestricted environment, but it's getting ridiculous. Example: Local pop radio station DJs are discussing the latest Paris Hilton video (that boney skank---who cares?). They are noting that in this one it's apparently girl-on-girl, complete with toys. Is the horse out of the barn? Am I being overly protective? I mean, after kids hit age 10 or 11 they can be expected to seek out info on everything. But why should 5 and 6-year-olds know any more than the most basic info about sex? Certainly they don't need to hear the details about kink. It's only natural that what they hear repeatedly will tend to represent to them what seems normal.
