RobBob Posted November 19, 2003 Posted November 19, 2003 The original "It's My Life" by Talk Talk was a good song, and enjoyable to hear again once-in-awhile. Why must it be re-made by some teeny-bopper with a shrill Britney whine? Now we're less likely to hear the original version again. Quote
Off_White Posted November 19, 2003 Posted November 19, 2003 Yeah, but it can go both ways. I just heard a pretty good version of "Oops, I Did It Again" performed by Richard Thompson. Quote
arlen Posted November 19, 2003 Posted November 19, 2003 Doesn't Mandy Moore do a version of XTC's Senses Working Overtime? Quote

randygoat Posted November 19, 2003 Posted November 19, 2003 I've seen Richard Thopson , and he was great. I can just imagine what that would sound like. I heard some one else[ can't remember the dudes name] do some Madonna tune. Something like " a wing and a prayer," or something like that. One of her earleir hits. It was actually really ,really good. Quote
bunglehead Posted November 19, 2003 Posted November 19, 2003 I've seen him 3 times, he was in top form each time. Quote
