bunglehead Posted October 23, 2003 Posted October 23, 2003 So I had this bizarre dream last night where my boss found out about this website, and he started monitoring my posts, and critiquing them. Turns out there was a big article in the NY Times about this site. It was some kind of analysis of new ways of thinking in the 21st century or something, and they used a bunch of avatars in the article. I was confused when I woke up this morning.. Quote

I don't think you were paying attention during that part of the nightmare. More likely it was an analysis of new ways of not thinking in the 21st Century. Related word of the day: oneiromancy. Quote
bunglehead Posted October 23, 2003 Author Posted October 23, 2003 Hey, I just dreamed it. It didn't make sense to me. But then again, a bunch of people that don't know each other, slamming everything they find out about a person, may just be the new way of thinking in the twenty first century. Quote
klenke Posted October 23, 2003 Posted October 23, 2003 Got ya. Thanks for the new word addition to my vocabulary: hypnopompic. So there is a word for that state! Quote
bunglehead Posted October 23, 2003 Author Posted October 23, 2003 There's also the Hypnagogic state! BTW: Oneriomancy: I hope not! Thanks, Klenkhead! Now I, too, have a new word! Quote
scrambler Posted October 23, 2003 Posted October 23, 2003 Don't you love the subversive nature of dreams? When your conscious censor is turned off, these dreams sneak up from the subconscious and hijack the theater of your mind. The Internet is like a BIG dream. Yeah… Subversive novelty. It’s all about changing your thinking. Leary said it. The Matrix trilogy advocates it. Quote
