Blake Posted October 17, 2003 Posted October 17, 2003 OK, ignore the stupid water bottles... what is the prominent and steep peak in the distance? Quote
klenke Posted October 17, 2003 Posted October 17, 2003 Cutthroat on the left, Golden Horn peeking on right shoulder of Cutthroat, Tower Mountain at right. Next. Quote
Blake Posted October 17, 2003 Author Posted October 17, 2003 Dkemp said you'd get it first... Taken from Stiletto. Try this one: Quote
klenke Posted October 17, 2003 Posted October 17, 2003 Don't know. Something looking into the sun (or southward). From Stiletto too? Quote
Blake Posted October 17, 2003 Author Posted October 17, 2003 Pic is Taken from McGregor... the peak in question has been VERY rarely summited and retains it native traditional name. Quote

Blake Posted October 17, 2003 Author Posted October 17, 2003 Well maybe this one will be a bit harder... not the greatest pic though. Quote
pms Posted October 17, 2003 Posted October 17, 2003 is it Agnes, Gunsight, and Elephanthead. From Junction Mt. maybe Quote
Blake Posted October 17, 2003 Author Posted October 17, 2003 Yes, it's Agnes from McGregor. The tallest "near" peak in the center is the agnes summit correct? then just to the right and behind is gunsight with the two tops... where's elephanthead? Are these IDs right? Quote
Lambone Posted October 17, 2003 Posted October 17, 2003 (edited) That North-East face on Tower Peak looks sweet from Liberty Bell. Does it get climbed, or just Choss? Looks kinda like Baring... Edited October 17, 2003 by Lambone Quote

klenke Posted October 17, 2003 Posted October 17, 2003 Yes, Blake, I think that's Agnes in front. The terrain in the pic jives with my mapbook. Quote

From Junction Mt. maybe Elephanthead actually extends off the north ridge of Dome I believe, so you would not see it the way it appears. It would be to the the right and in the distance. Quote
