mixed routes around whistler

i am looking for some info on new mixed routes around whistler area. how to get there, gear, grades? thanks

There's a selection of CAJ's in the Western WA Univ library with a review of mixed routes at Blackcomb. I think the article is entitled tounge in cheek, "Chamoniox of N.America" or something similair.

Look good.

 

How come I've never heard of this man made ice park???

Topos for "the Farm" are at the Escape Route in Whistler. Also info on Showcase Spire, and two other buttresses put up this summer. Looks fun; someday it may be worth the $$$ bling to ride the lift up to go climbing

I got half way up that 29-forever, Its cool, but there was a pillow of crap I couldnt pull on the 3rd pitch

the water supply pipeline at 'The Farm' burst, it's unlikely

there will be much farmed ice there this year.

The water supply problems have been fixed. So as long as alpine temperatures are low enough on Blackcomb, the mixed routes at The Farm should sport some ice.
