Toast
What's the quickest way to Cooper Spur on Mt Hood from Seattle... SR-26 from Portland or I-84 via Hood River?

Toast
Nope, meeting some folks out there... but what's to climb in the area? Actually, more importantly, what's the drive time going via Yakima? I figure it takes about 2 hours to get to Yakima.
catbirdseat
I think it is too late to climb Cooper Spur. Ask JHamaker what it is like at this time of year.

catbirdseat
The way I went was I-5, I-205, SR-84/30, SR-26, SR-35. Don't know if it is faster or slower than erik's way.
rbw1966
If you are coming via Yakima go south on 97, west on 84, south on 35 to Parkdale and follow signs to Cooper Spur. Drive time will be about 2.5 hours. Pete's Pile is right by Cooper Spur and is rumored to be a decent spot for climbing. Bulo Point is not too far away (30 mins or so).
