Attitude Posted August 29, 2003 Posted August 29, 2003 The Evil Empire (REI) has the Suunto Altimax Altimeter watch on sale for $125. Quote
Superman Posted August 29, 2003 Author Posted August 29, 2003 That's like a Volkswagen, and this is a Ferrari. The Altimax retails for $169. REI is selling it for $125 which is only a $44 discount off the retail price for an entirely different watch than the one I'm advertising. I'm offering $149 off the retail price for arguably one of the finest altimeter watches on the market. Look .. the evil empire is selling the same watch I am for $149 more!! http://www.rei.com/online/store/ProductDisplay?storeId=8000&catalogId=40000008000&productId=11055503&parent_category_rn=4500566 Quote
Jim Posted August 29, 2003 Posted August 29, 2003 Not to be a smart ass as I do need an altimeter - if it's so good why are you selling it? Quote
Ursa_Eagle Posted August 29, 2003 Posted August 29, 2003 Sorry for the spray, but I couldn't resist: "User should avoid pressing buttons" Quote
