Hiromi Posted June 5, 2003 Posted June 5, 2003 I've got these enormous wide feet and I can't seem to find any crampon compatible mountaineering boots (except plastics, which fit great) big enough. Any recommendations? Does anyone know a manufacturer that makes an extra wide boot? Quote
Attitude Posted June 5, 2003 Posted June 5, 2003 Try Vasque. The are owned by Red Wing, so try your local Red Wing store. Quote

I have wide feet and it has taken me a while to break them in. They are really light though, probably one of the lightest full shank, crampon compatible boots out there. They are also NOT waterproof. Can't stretch the toe box because the rubber rand just holds the shape. My heavy Nepal Extremes are plenty wide, plenty waterproof, plenty comfortable, and plenty heavy. Good luck!! Quote
