Lightweight Mountaineering Boots

I've got these enormous wide feet and I can't seem to find any crampon compatible mountaineering boots (except plastics, which fit great) big enough. Any recommendations? Does anyone know a manufacturer that makes an extra wide boot?

Try Vasque. The are owned by Red Wing, so try your local Red Wing store.

My feet are fairly wide and I've always had good luck with technicas.

what joshk said. tenica's seem to do well. you can also get them stretched to high hell.

I've also got wide feet. I've found that Salomon's fit me really well.

Has anyone taken a look at Salomon's new leather double boots? Who'd a thought they'd ever come back?

I'll tell ya what not to get if you have wide feet: La Sportiva Trango S. I have wide feet and it has taken me a while to break them in. They are really light though, probably one of the lightest full shank, crampon compatible boots out there. They are also NOT waterproof. Can't stretch the toe box because the rubber rand just holds the shape. My heavy Nepal Extremes are plenty wide, plenty waterproof, plenty comfortable, and plenty heavy. Good luck!!
