JoshK Posted May 13, 2003 Posted May 13, 2003 Can somebody confirm these are what I think they are? Both taken from somewhere on liberty bell mountain. Goode? http://www.cascadeclimbers.com/plab/showphoto.php?photo=778 Dome? http://www.cascadeclimbers.com/plab/showphoto.php?photo=779 -josh Quote
Dru Posted May 13, 2003 Posted May 13, 2003 It'sa Mt Si and Rainier. If you look close you can even see Dan - and Fido on top. Quote
Off_White Posted May 13, 2003 Posted May 13, 2003 Actually Dru, I think that first one is in Renton. Quote
MarkAllen Posted May 16, 2003 Posted May 16, 2003 Hey Bro, Cool pics of the peaks and yes both of your guesses are correct. THe East face of Goode has several good steep routes that are good to do now.See Becky's red guide. THe impresive glacier on Dome is the Chickamin. Looks even more crazy on the USGS 7.5min topo. THat section of the range is the south end of the Ptarmagin Traverse. Info in the Becky Green Guide (i think, or the red) the area from Cacade pass south to Glacier peak. Cheers and keep climbing. See you on top. Mark Quote
Szyjakowski Posted May 16, 2003 Posted May 16, 2003 MARKALLEN check your PM box How is RR's treating you? Quote
JoshK Posted May 16, 2003 Author Posted May 16, 2003 Thanks Mark, appreciate the comments. Yes, I have been looking at the east face of goode for a while. (ok, I lie, I've been looking since I saw it from liberty bell the other day ) It looks like some great climbing to be had. One small correction, the information for both goode and dome is in the green book. At least it's that way in the versions I have. -josh Quote
