Montana_Climber Posted March 21, 2003 Posted March 21, 2003 BD sells the kits in stores. For other companies, you might have to send them back to the manufacturer for an overall. Quote

Thanks in advance If its a WC Friend or a Costalot you can buy replacement triggers and wires from your friendly local outdoor retailer. If not you might have to send it back to manufacturer or call them up to see if they sell replacements. Quote
ScottP Posted March 21, 2003 Posted March 21, 2003 You can also purchase trigger assemblies for rigid stem Friends. I recently bought some for some older versions. The diameter of the bar was wider than the older version, so I filed it flat to fit the narrower slot. Quote
Off_White Posted March 21, 2003 Posted March 21, 2003 For diy info, here's a link to Dawn Alguard's website with a compendium of other people's answers to this question (mostly from rec.climbing) Trigger Repair as well as a list of where to send out for repairs Trigger Repair Shops I've replaced wires on a bunch of old friends with great success. I did have to slightly drill out the old wire hole since the new cable was a wee bit bigger than the old. Quote
