It's what a huge portion of the rain forest is being ripped down for. Why? So this fat ass nation can eat mcdonalds cheap. I'm not a vegetarian, and never want to be one. I enjoy a nice fat steak every once in a while, or a burger for that matter. But the fact remains that the price we pay in order to let fat asses eat beef every single day is quite high, but in terms of public cost and cost to the environment. Â JoshK, you are the idiot; as proven by the above quote by you. If you don't like it, don't buy beef from said producers. Raise your own cattle or buy from a small, reputable rancher. Quote

I go in on several organic beef cattle every year; they are super tasty. I also hunt elk. There's people from the .com who've benefited from this practice; there will be others (yourself included, Erik ).  Greg Edited March 16, 2003 by Greg_W Quote

This disease has been found in wild deer in Colorado, Wyoming and New Mexico, and extends far beyond some small game farms. In Wisconsin, several hundred thousand wild deer are targeted for eradication. Â Quote

Greg_W Posted March 17, 2003 Posted March 17, 2003 Uncle Tricky - I stand corrected. I must state that my info was only for elk (much info can be had from the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation website). Quote
