Peter_Puget Posted February 14, 2003 Posted February 14, 2003 OK, so one of the many people behind the mighty force that is Poptart wants to know....what do you want for Valentine's Day? I think we already know that bible-o-phile Johnny Density wants a Hummer, and we can likely conjecture Trasky wants a couple of Hooters girls (loans only pleeze), but what do the rest of you want? Expecting a lot of spray, but seriously, what would you really like to get on this holiday of lovers? Quote
PullinFool Posted February 14, 2003 Posted February 14, 2003 Just to celebrate my anniversary with my wife - guaranteed I will never forget by picking this date...and you thought I was a romantic! Quote
COL._Von_Spanker Posted February 14, 2003 Posted February 14, 2003 Down with valentines day. I think it's just a marketing ploy. ..and shouldn't every day be a celebration of the ones you love? Quote

Greg_W Posted February 14, 2003 Posted February 14, 2003 (edited) OK, so one of the many people behind the mighty force that is Poptart wants to know....what do you want for Valentine's Day? Saddam Hussein's heart in a jar of alcohol. Oh, and chocolate is good. Edited February 14, 2003 by Greg_W Quote
Dru Posted March 29, 2003 Posted March 29, 2003 On this day in History.... 28 March. In 1979 there was a serious accident at the Three Mile Island nuclear plant in Pennsylvania, and although no meltdown occurred, public opinion began to turn against the whole American nuclear industry. In the film The China Syndrome, made before the incident, a character remarks that a cloud of waste could wreak death and destruction over 'an area the size of Pennsylvania.' Earlier in the year, a local magazine had run a fictional story called Meltdown at Three Mile Island, and they even got the date right - 28 March. Quote
