iain Posted February 12, 2003 Posted February 12, 2003 What's Pole Creek Road like these days? Snowed in? Clear? Let me know! Quote
ckouba Posted February 12, 2003 Posted February 12, 2003 Iain- Per this: http://www.cascadeclimbers.com/threadz/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=UBB7&Number=135574&page=0&view=collapsed&sb=5&o=&fpart=1 Pole Creek Road is open to the trailhead... From the original post for the thread: "Also, you can drive to Pole Creek trailhead and there is barely enough snow to ski on at the start of the trail. I'd imagine that it is possible to drive to the Pamelia Lake trailhead for Jefferson as well." Are you thinking of heading that way and when? Chris Quote

iain Posted February 13, 2003 Author Posted February 13, 2003 I forgot what level of reading comprehension I was dealing with here. Perhaps this will provide the necessary message for the simpletons in the rabble: Quote
CodyICE Posted February 13, 2003 Posted February 13, 2003 I drove to the trail head on 2/10. There was only a bit of snow at the end. Any car could drive through it. Quote
gapertimmy Posted February 13, 2003 Posted February 13, 2003 indeed, i was up near three creeks lk/tam mcarthur over 2 weeks ago, not alot o freshiez to deal with. we have some clouds moving in from the south, but its only supposed to bring about 2'' new in the chosscades travel advisory: watch out for hordes of suv wanking washington gapers descending on the central oregon region this weekend. the signature washington gaper will be in nissan x-terra's with rocket boxes on top, and assorted outdoor stickers emblazoned on the rear of the vehicle. use caution when encountering such a beast on the road, they are generally orenery and have been known to accidentally spill soy late on their laps and loose control of their vehicles.
