question Best all around ropes on the market today?

Anybody know if the Edelweiss ropes have good handling? Move through devices easily, etc? What other brands get high marks in longevity and handling these days? Anybody used the new Black Diamond ropes?

The best ropes are the ones having the most fun. Geez!

My Mammut ropes always seem to be having the best time. And so punctual, you know those Swiss. Never have an unplanned bivy again!

I've owned Edelweiss and had a great experience. But lots of other ropes have been fine too. Find one on sale and love the one you're with.
