  1. Lightly used (3-4 days out in snow and ice) mountaineering boots - size 38 (US women's 7). They're basically brand new and great boots, but half a size too small for me. Can met in downtown Seattle or the Columbia City/Seward Park area.
  2. Everything in the pic shipped to your door in the lower 48 for $85. All lightly used on a couple mountaineering trips on summit day. Basically to be clipped in to a fixed line while summitting. So very little use. Mixture of Petzl and BD. Ascender is LH and I really don't want to part all of this out just to save on shipping stuff all over the US. Also have a BD multi-purpose harness. If interested I could throw that in for a small fee. Pics available upon request.
  3. For sale is a pair of lightly used BD Sabretooth clip crampons. Great all around crampon. Asking $80 shipping included to the lower 48. Payment via paypal only please. Comes with the carry case as well.
  4. For sale is a whole cooking kit. MSR Simmerlite stove, 4 bottles, multiple windscreens and a 1.3L MSR pot. Will not part out. Very little use, just don't need anymore. Asking $120 or about half off of new price and that price includes shipping to the lower 48.
  5. ::: SOLD ::: Got the Phantom 8000's off of eBay for an upcoming trip but they are a tad small. Size 44 $250 shipped (I'm located in Nashville). ::: SOLD ::: Nepal Evo's with plenty of life left. Also size 44. $175 shipped Any questions, let me know. Thanks
  6. Was $175, now at $125.00. 4 season, double wall dome that is very roomy for 2 and will fit 3 persons. about the same floor space as the VE25. In addition to the zippered entrance, the tent has double snow tunnel entrances for winter and mountaineering use. Four, 157" equal length replacement fiberglass poles. 2 shorter Easton aluminum awning supports which I have purchased from TNF. The original owner lost the pole bag. The fiberglass poles are strong and work fine but are heavier and do not have the ultimate strength of metal for mountaineering use ..... but who among you is unaware of this. The tent is in excellent, lightly used overall condition. No stains, no funky odors and the polyurethane coating on the floor and rainfly isn't sticky or peeling. Very clean throughout. There was a slit in the fabric of 1 pole sleeve and another near the entrance which I have solidly repaired. (Again for the uninitiated, the center shadow spots on the photo's is a flaw of my older point and shoot) Note: If your planning regular, serious mountaineering use, TNF sells the 4 Easton aluminum poles for $192.00 but they are out of stock. TentPole Technology sells the 4 poles in Easton aluminum for approximately $144.00. 4 TNF aluminum poles on E-Bay at the present selling at $30.00 each. - Nylon taffeta floor, canopy and rainfly. - Zippered main entrance with bug netting. Netting is mint. - Double snow tunnel entrances with netting for summer ventilation. - Additional guy line pullouts on the rainfly for high wind and snow load conditions. - 2 inside netting gear pockets. - Free standing. - Seams on the floor and rainfly were not previously sealed. A blank slate for you to do the job. No old, flaking sealer to clean up. Weights: Rainfly, 2lbs 6oz - Poles & Stakes, 3lbs 10oz - Main Body, 4lbs 1oz Comes with setup instructions, poles, pegs, separate pole and tent bags. Asking $125.00 plus shipping cost from 80517. Reconfigured the box to 32"x9"x6.5". Use 10 and 1/2 lbs as the packaged shipping weight. Pickup in Estes Park, CO also available.
  7. Changes in footwear/mountain goals have left me with several pairs of crampons I don't need. - Petzl Darts, with leverlock rears. These are getting down there, but have some drytooling in them for sure. - Petzl Irvis front sections. These are only lightly used and still sharp. They can be used with the darts rears, above. - BD Sabretooths. Full auto. Heavily used, but life in them with some sharpening. The center bars have been cut, so they won't fit more than a size 9 boot without new bars. - Stubai 10-point aluminums. Full strap. Just cleaning the closet here, throw me some beer, or a 20, etc. Thanks!
  8. I decided to dump the rest of my bags. All prices include shipping to the lower 48. All info should be in pics. Stuff sacks and storage bags included with each bag. 15. My wife got me this harness for Christmas, and it has sat in storage until this week when the weather finally improved. I did a bunch of research before buying, and got a large (I am right between two sizes). Unfortunately, it seems like I chose wrong, and need a smaller size. Since the harness was originally purchased in December, it is no longer eligible for exchange. Here is the link to the harness: https://mistymountain.com/shop/climbing/climbing-harnesses/cadillac/ Size: L Buckle type: Quick Adjust Color: Blue and Black Harness is in like new condition. I only wore it for one day of climbing, and never took a fall! It is super comfortable, and has legendary build quality and features. Current retail prices are around $145, asking $120 (I intend to reorder the same harness, just one size smaller).
  16. Made in Italy, semi-rigid, step-in crampon compatible boots designed for technical mountaineering and moderate ice climbing. Very rigid boot that I can not flex by hands. - Toe and heel welt. - Thinsulate Insulated. - Full circumference rubber rand. - Vibram lug sole. - Chambrelle lined. - 2.5 lbs per boot. Very lightly used and in excellent condition. Soles look nearly new and the interior lining is without wear. Asking $95.00 shipped. PPFF or please add the 3% fee.
  17. Two used Tech Machine ice tools with new Ice Blades currently attached. Includes back-up pair of Ice Blades. Tools have lots of life left and will serve someone well for many years! I love the grip (fits medium-large hand very well) and swing of these tools, but I need to thin out the redundancy in my collection. If I am way off the mark with the asking price let me know, but price seems lower than anything I was able to find out there Available to meet in Seattle.
  18. This is *the* PNW pack for climbing and mountaineering in my opinion, and those of many others (*coughAmericanAlpineInstituteGuidesChoice*cough). This is the Ballistics version so extra durable fabric only on the hard wear points. And all the straps! Lash anything and everything (crampons, rope, etc) I have three Cilo packs and am only selling his as I can (for now) manage the 30:30 pack for most of my climbs. Subsequently, this has only been on Adams, Rainier, and possibly Baker- so super minty! $250 This is a fair price and is without the notable hassle of the forever unclear production timeline from Cilo themselves, anywhere from 2-4 months, sometimes it's longer. And yes it's true, they don't ever give you updates. That for sure is the one downside of a climber-run business but then you can't be so mad when they also want to climb and the make the best packs! Plus USA made! This includes 2 sets of the diagonal carry strap system ($38) and the rope catch strap system ($15) worth $53 I'm located in Seattle and am glad to meet up anywhere reasonably close. On eBay as US*Grant for selling history. From CiloGear: The 40B is the pack of choice for cragging and weekends close to home. It is a robust and durable pack that will treat you right today and in the years to come. The 40B responds to the desire of folks for a pack that would work for Alpine cragging or serious routes in more civilized areas. The 40B is about 2.5" shorter than the 45L or 60L WorkSacks, and is just the right size for shorter folks and awesome weekends. The 40B WorkSack easily carries crampons or a water bottle in the crampon pocket. Volume Range: Normal: 42L | Expanded: 60L | Compressed: 30L | Closed: 20L Weight and Sizing Specifications Pack bag: 815g(1.8lbs) | Hip belt: 120g | Lid: 170g | Strap set: 200g | Framesheet & Pad: 590g | Total: 1895g(4.1lbs) Size by torso length 17" - 19" = Medium

  24. Just as I was getting going in the climbing world, I move away from my climbing partner/mentor and started a small family. Now, a handful of years later, I realize that this type of climbing is not going to be part of my life, so I should probably re-allocate my resources to something more appropriate. As such, there may be some material here that could be of use to you! All of the gear here has been very lightly used and properly stored while in my possession. (6-8 years): stable “cellar” type temperatures, binned away from sunlight/pests, and nothing but mild jostling while organizing or moving, and none of them have taken loads more than static body-weight – no leader falls. Here’s a scale to indicate the condition of these pieces: 1 – Brand new, never been placed/used. 2- Essentially brand new, placed once or twice, no falls. 3 – bought used, previous treatment unknown; light use, if any, with me. Buy it all in one go and I’ll round it down to $250. I can meet anywhere in the Portland area.
