Vintage Holubar Mountain Parka - Size medium. Rare. Holubar of Boulder, Colorado, manufactured outdoor clothing, sleeping bags and do-it-yourself kits during the outdoor sports renaissance and back packing boom of the 1970's. Mountain parka's of the time were usually made from tightly woven 60/40 cloth (60% cotton, 40% nylon) or polyester poplin fabrics that offered good wind protection but were moisture effective only in repelling fog, drizzle, short duration showers and dry snow. Classic, Velcro closure patch chest and hip pockets with additional zippered chest pockets. Hand slots behind the lower cargo pockets. Large zippered pocket nearly spans the entire upper back. Medium green outer and tan inner, double layer polyester fabric. Appears to be hardly used and in exceptional condition. One small stain observed on the zipper draft flap. Boulder oldsters, please advise if any of my description is lacking. Asking $50.00, shipped.

Classic TNF, brown label Chamois. Inspected and rejuvenated. I have a TNF Chamois vintage 1975 goose down filled mummy bag. 0 degree's rated. This was acquired on e-bay and it looked pretty good until I went to wash it. I was spot treating with Nikwax down wash and discovered a torn seam held together with a safety pin in the foot box on the inside. There's a seamstress here in Estes Park who repairs gear for me so we went over the entire bag and she fixed the torn seam and reinforced some others. I repaired 2 spark holes and a frayed spot with tiny nylon patches and Seam Grip. They held up very well through washing and drying. The bag has now been washed with the Nikwax and it came out very nice. The loft is very good and now needs nothing and is ready to use. This is not an old beat up bag. The previous owner said that it was used for 3 years in the 70's and then camping once and a while through the 80's. It had been hanging in his closet since then. He said it had never been washed. Its appearance since washing is near new. I'm not keeping it because it turns out to be a regular and not a large as advertised. If it is of interest to you, I'm asking $150.00 shipped to your location. - Hooded mummy bag - Goose down filled. Rated to 0 degree's. - Size regular fits to 6' tall, left zip. - 6" slant box baffle construction. - Box foot construction - German #10 Optilon coil zipper in good shape backed with a draft flap. - Dark Blue, 1.9 Ounce Ripstop Nylon - Weighs 3lbs, 10 ounces

I remember when Chuck Roast began marketing various outdoor apparel, perhaps most notably pile gear, round about the time Chouinard Equipment introduced their pile fleece jacket. As you may note, this marked the demise of wool as a first choice in damp weather mountaineering clothing here in the US. I have for sale a Chuck Roast, so called woolly pile, zippered T pullover that is nearly unused in excellent condition. I see no matting or wear at the cuffs. Sort of a spruce green with subtle oak leaf pattern. Has hand pockets, size large. Asking $28.00. Includes shipping and paypal fee's.

Classic, Brown Label, TNF Superlight Sleeping Bag. - Slim Fitting Mummy Bag with rapid taper at the thighs to the box toe. - Slant Box Baffle Construction with Goose Down Fill. - Dark Blue, 1.9 Ounce Ripstop Nylon. - Right Hand Zip. Near Full Length, 2 Way, #10 German, Nylon Optilon Coil Zipper. - Zipper is Backed by a Well Filled Draft Tube. - Size Regular (Fits to 6'). Total Outside Length from Top of Hood to Toe is 84". - Weight is 3 Pounds, 4 Ounces on my Postal Scale. Purchased around 1974 in a small backpacking store in Flemington, NJ where I was working while in college. This is a well cared for, properly stored, in very good condition original Superlight. There are no rips, holes or pulls in the shell. I see no stains and it has just been washed and is ready to use. The loft is still very good. Notes - With the early TNF sleeping bags, it was very easy for the zipper to become snagged on the material and specifically the draft tube. I learned to hold the zipper pull with my thumb and index finger and stuck the others down between the zipper sides. In this manner I sort of cleared the way of fabric as it was zipped up. On occasion, if the fabric became stuck in the zipper pull, the coils might separate. No damage ever occurred to the fabric as it should not and once cleared of the fabric and reversed over the separation, it was self repairing. The frequency of separation is increasing and at some point the zipper will need to be replaced. This could be done now and the bag be sent directly to TNF and then on to the buyer from TNF. Something to consider. When it comes to replacing zippers, I have always found the North Face support and warranty exemplary and was never charged a penny. This is the original zipper. TNF at first rated the Superlight to 10 degree's, then it was changed to 5 degree's. At 10 degree's I was always a bit chilly. For me, it was more of a 15 degree bag for the low. Asking $80.00 plus shipping from Estes Park, CO 80517.

An unused, original Pole Sleeve Flashlight tent. Taken out of the bag and set up the 1st time for these photographs. It is a 2 person, double wall tent suitable for car camping and back packing. Weighing in at 3 lbs, 14 oz, when first introduced and for a long time afterwards, it was the lightest 2 person backpacking tent on the market. - 3 season tent with a mesh inner door and rear window. - Water proof floors and lower sidewalls. - Breathable, uncoated tent canopy allows water vapor to escape. - Further ventilation through the netting door and rear window. - Coated waterproof rainfly nearly extends to the ground. - 2 pole tunnel design with the sleeves is stable in windy conditions. Could be used for the occasional winter outing. I once spent a stormy, very windy fall night at the Boulderfield beneath Longs Peak in the later Clip Flashlight model of this tent. The gusts of wind kept me awake but we came through it unscathed. Asking $100.00 shipped to the lower 48.

I have a well used, burley Gregory technical day pack. In very good condition except there is fading here and there of the original purple color. Area's have faded to light blue. Don't know the volume exactly but best guess I'd say from 30 to 35 liters. Heavy duty throughout, #10 coil zipper works fine, Cordura pack cloth. Good pack for squeezing through sandstone slots, chimney's, as a haul bag and other such uses were packs take a beating. Also setup for ice tools. Included is a Gregory padded hydration bladder case - like for a Platypus 2 quart size. No damage. US made. Was $35.00, now 30.00 shipped.
