  9. My waist is 33", height is 5'7". Except for my present waist, I am thin and small boned. With the waist adjusted to the tightest position, they would stay up when worn over a layer of fleece. But the length was to long and the cut was to full through the buttocks and thighs. Definitely cut to wear over layers or for a person more muscular in the lower body. Bad sizing choice on my part but sometimes I can wear a large in an insulated pant, like the Montbell Tech pant for example.
