  8. 4 light weight Columbia summer shirts in size medium that have hardly been worn. Each is of the same design with 4 different 100% cotton fabrics made in India. For the 1st three shown, I'm asking $23.00 each, shipped. The 4th shirt pictured has a small hole in the sleeve so the price is $15.00. Easy to repair with needle and thread or a patch on the inside. Buy all for $50.00, shipped.
  9. I'm selling an XL Lowe Alpine iconic mountaineering shell, the Flash Jacket. Full featured and overall in very good condition. Detracting from this, I have repaired a 1" slit on the lower back near the hem with Tenacious Tape and 2 pin head sized nicks with a dab of Seam Grip. These are isolated flaws on a lightly used jacket. It has been washed and colors are bright and new looking. Red and black. Asking $55.00, shipped. Triple Point Ceramic was a Lowe Alpine proprietary waterproof/breathable fabric competing with Goretex in the market. A newer stretch version of the fabric was introduced around 2010. - Waterproof/breathable Triple/Point Ceramic laminate with taped seams. - Helmet compatible adjustable hood - Pit zippers - 2 huge zippered front pockets - Draw cord at the waist and hem - Cut full for accommodating under-layers. - Draft flaps and Velcro seal all zippers. Main zipper has double flaps and rain gutter. Old school but highly effective. - Velour on the chin guard - Articulated Elbows The Flash Jacket is more of a full-on winter or mountaineering technical jacket rather than a summer hiking rain jacket. Send a message for additional photo's showing details if wanted. Testimony - Almost all of my walking and climbing is done in the mountains of the UK and as a consequence a good hard shell is a must (due to huge amounts of rain). I have also used the jacket extensively in New Zealand (winter) and India (monsoon season). The TPCJ has good styling and cut, pockets are so-so, excellent zips and a roomy adjustable hood. I can also fit decent amount of mid and base layers under it or wear it with a t-shirt as good shock-cord adjustment stops it feeling like a sail. I first got this jacket as (due to a packing over-sight) I forgot my normal Gore-Tex (doh!) and bought this to be used as cheap stop-gap. This beats my other Gore-Tex jackets hands-down. This is a fantastic jacket for REALLY wet conditions and although it weighs in heavier seems altogether more packable. 7 years extreme use and it still looks like new and I am as happy popping down the pub in it as I am Kea spotting in Milford Sound. --------------- Like some of the other people reviewing this jacket, I bought it as a cheap Gore-Tex substitute, but found it to be far superior in many ways. The design is VERY well thought out with pockets and double-length pit zips. Also the jacket is BOMBER. Noticeably heavier than similar products, but it will also outlast those products. If you are not a weight weenie and want a rugged, solid mountaineering jacket, buy this one. ------------------- Triple Point Ceramic is a little heavier that Gore-Tex, a little warmer, but will outlast it anyday. Not a leak after two years of heavy use. Never been treated either. Bombproof construction...have used it bushwacking and scraping on rocks, but not a scratch on it. Highly recommended. --------------------- My first TPCJ jacket I wore in the mountains of the UK (lots of rain) for a couple of years of hard use. I then took it to Patagonia where I spent four months leading treks and living outdoors. In one particularly wet month, all of the Gore-tex users in my group were getting wet but the two of us in this fabric were not. When that jacket was stolen I replaced it with the same model and have now used that for several years without problem. Good pockets, good zips, good hood, could perhaps do with a bit more soft fabric to protect the chin when fully zipped

Marmot, size medium, ultra silk weight polyester fabric with a subtle leaf pattern. Has blue mesh ventilation strips over the shoulder into the armpits, down the sides and across the back. 11. Like TNF and Sierra Designs, Trailwise of Berkeley, CA was another of the early equipment manufacturer's that ushered in the backpacking/climbing boom of the 60's and 70's with innovative and lightweight designs. There clothing, packs and sleeping bags were used and popularized by Colin Fletcher author of The Complete Walker, The Man Who Walked Through Time and others. Trailwise original goose down filled jacket. Size medium, sewn through construction, nylon taffeta fabric, waist drawcord, double toggle zipper. Cargo pockets backed with hand warmer pockets. The jacket is in exceptionally good condition and appears lightly used. I see 2 small flaws on the outer fabric of the lower left cargo pocket. A sunflower seed sized hole and a smaller worn spot just above. I plan to place a tiny nylon patch over the hole and adhere with seam grip as soon as I find some royal blue nylon fabric. Or, I could do nothing as its not going anywhere and is not that noticeable. Your choice. The cargo pocket is not down filled behind the flaw so there is no down leakage. I washed the jacket and it came out nice. Fabric is clean and bright with only a few, very faint stains. The loft is excellent. Regrettably, no hood. Asking $60, shipped to the lower 48.
  12. Asolo ($20.00) and La Sportiva ($18.00) - Or buy both pairs for $30.00. Includes shipping. For the cost of the shoes and 1/2 resoles, one or both pair could be resoled by Steve Komito (Komito Boots) here in Estes Park, CO before shipping. Middle and right are the shoes remaining to be sold - Asolo Sport, Canyon - Gray upper, canvas lined high top in very good condition. No holes or worn areas. Quite a bit of remaining sole life. Sizing is worn off but on a shoe sizing scale, from tip of the toe to heel, outside measurement is shoe size 14. Asking $20.00 shipped. La Sportiva (Model?)- Purple with yellow reinforcements, canvas lined high top. Overall fair condition. No holes or wear spots in the suede upper, canvas lined. Its condition is downgraded due to sole wear. Can be climbed in now but will need a new half sole soon. Sizing is worn off but on a shoe sizing scale, from tip of the toe to heel, outside measurement is shoe size 13. Asking $18.00 shipped.
  13. Classic TNF, brown label Superlight. - Hooded mummy bag - Goose down filled. Rated to 5 degree's. - Size regular fits to 6' tall, left zip. - 6" slant box baffle construction. - Box foot construction - Dark Blue, 1.9 Ounce Ripstop Nylon - Weighs 3lbs, 10 ounces The bag was purchased in 1975, has been properly stored and is in very good condition. It has just been spot treated and washed with Nikwax Down Soap and it came out wonderfully. The nylon shell looks near new with no stains and the loft is very good. No storage odors, just the down soap. I thoroughly inspected the bag before washing and repaired 2 tiny spark holes and a frayed spot with nylon patches and McNett Seam Grip. It is rejuvenated and entirely ready to be used. Despite its age, this is not an old, beat up sleeping bag. It was used for 3 years in the latter 70's and then camping once and a while through the 80's. It has been hanging in a closet since then. Email me your questions and thank you! Asking $140.00, includes shipping. Note - Small shadow spot near center of some photo's is a quirk of the camera.
  14. Refresh for price reduction-
  15. Koflach Arctis Comprex Double Plastic Boots - EU 8.5, US 9. Rigid mountaineering and vertical ice boot with removable insulation booty. The boot has seen lots of use but is solid in every way. No holes or significant worn spots in the lining or tongue. Sole has very minor wear. Was $50.00, Asking $40.00 shipped. Comment from the Cascade Climber website - My first plastic boot 15 years ago was the Koflach Ultra (the early men's version of the later women's Viva Soft). Switched to an early version of the Arctis Comprex after about 5 years, and I climbed PNW volcanoes and Canadian water ice with the Arctis Comprex for about 10-12 years. They were just great for the conditions around the PNW and BC/Alberta, but were too warm for me and tended to keep my feet wet with condensed sweat, like genepires said. They were a blue and gray affair, with an inner lining of felt over foam.

  19. Vintage Frostline (Boulder, CO), made from a kit, down filled mittens. Frostline, Holubar and Caribou produced kits for outdoor clothing through the 70's.
