Mine were stolen, would like to replace them, looking to spend $400.00 (my paycheck for a week, I am a poor student...fail) Im never leaving my axes in my car ever again. My car was broken into for some stereo stuff, and a GPS that I stupidly keep plugged to my window, and guess they saw them on the backseat floor, so they grabbed them too. Ive had the older ones before going to the current generation, so not trying to go back, although great tools, the current ones climb better in my opinion.

I need money for boots, so time to sell some extra gear thats just hanging out... DMM Revolution Ice Screws 10cm - $50 shipped each $140 shipped for all of them. -They are in excellent condition. I only ever placed one, and only placed it once. They have been racked a few times, but are in excellent condition like brand new. The teeth need no sharpening at all, the threads arent damaged in any way, and there's no rust build up anywhere. BD Fushions - $200.00 -The titans on them at the moment will need to be replaced, they make good beater picks, but I would change them before you head out on anything. There is a slight wobble in them, the roller pin in the shaft that connects the grip and shaft needs to be replaced. BD said they would do it for free and ship them back free. I just haven't had the time to do it yet. You can call to confirm that the procedure is free, turnaround time was quoted at a week. The shafts are wrapped in 3M safetread grip tape. The same stuff used on outside steps. I will sell everything here for $300 shipped!! Or trade this all for a size 45.5 La Sportiva Nepal Evo, or La Sportiva Batura in good condition, no smell, no dry rotting, no rips or holes, etc...

Its time for new ice boots. Mine are done, theyve been patched, repaired, etc... Its just simply time for new boots. I usually wear an 11.5 - 12 depending on fit and have a wide foot. I tried on a size 45.5 La Sportiva Nepal Evo, and they fit like a glove (just tried em on at EMS) but not looking to pay that much for them. If you have any boots lying around that don't see much use and your looking to sell em, let me know and send me some pics. Im not looking for a double plastic boot at the moment just leathers for mixed and ice, short approaches, and not using them for more than a day or two at a time. Thanks all

Doug, If you can find out from your friend how he did it, that would be greatly appreciated! I have to order the part, none around I can just pick up yet from the stores around me, so knowledge of how to DIY would help.

I was recently informed that with the older nomics, you can purchase the newer picks and the newer hammer and they will fit on the older nomic, giving you the option of having a hammer on your old nomic. Does anyone know if the part for the newer nomic, the spike on the bottom will fit the older nomic? How effective do you think that spike will work for alpine? It didn't look to good imo. Im not saying the nomic is the best alpine axe, or asking if the quark or any other axe is better for alpine, which I know is, I am simply asking about the effectiveness of the nomic spike and if it will fit the old nomic.
